Summary

Metal-detecting between 1999 and 2017 recovered Roman pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins, and a medieval jetton; aswell as Roman, and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman finger ring and a steelyard weight; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant; a medieval/post-medieval thimble and scabbard chape; and post-medieval knife fragments and a stud.

First half of 1999. Metal detecting. [1].
1 Roman coin. See list in file.
Roman brooch. 1st century. Dolphin type cast copper alloy with attachment for spring mechanism. Double longitudinal line of 'milled' decoration on bow. Moulded decoration on arms. Rear-facing hook intact. Large solid but incomplete catch plate.
