A rectangular encloure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. Roman coins, brooches and pottery, an Early Saxon ring, and medieval and post medieval coins and other metalwork, found by metal detecting.

Full description

1 base Roman greyware.
Post medieval lead ?harness mount, in form of equal-armed cross with central conical boss (separately constructed). Width 1.02mm, width of arms 15.5mm.
[1] reports dowsing of 60m+ square 'building' cut diagonally by road, with 'internal division'.
OS aerial photograph shows north and west sides of a ditched enclosure of which there is no sign on (S1).
