Full description

May/June 1997. Metal detecting finds.
Cast copper alloy 11th/12th century belt hook, sub-rectangular plate broken at end, with notch decorated flange on either side, 2 off-centre holes and 1 attachment stud at rear; stylised animal head on hook which has broken loop at tip.
Silvered or tinned.
Cast openwork copper alloy button with integral shank. Early post medieval.
Cast copper alloy (iron) knife shoulder plate, part of scale and tang in place.
Sheet copper alloy ferrule, apparent wear marks, transverse linear decoration, one attachment hole, early post medieval.
