Summary

Metal detecting has recovered a range of finds dating from the late prehistoric to the post medieval period. These include a late prehistoric flint fabricator, a possible Roman military pendant, an Early Saxon buckle, a Late Saxon box mount, the arm of a Viking trefoil brooch, a 15th century gilt finger ring depicting St George and the dragon and a post-medieval gold finger ring. Fragments of Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery were also found.
