Earthworks of fishponds and a series of medieval tofts can be seen on aerial photographs. These earthworks have been surveyed. Remedial work was carried out in 2002.

Full description

5 January 1979. CUCAP aerial photography.
Rectangular enclosures under snow - shrunken village?
Possibly includes the 'fishponds' noted by Ordnance Survey as at site NHER 4935.

Field south of farm drive under good pasture, grazed by horses.
Undulations visible. To north field unmanaged, rough grass.
No earthworks definable.

April 1996. Earthwork Survey.
Survey at 1:1000 of southern part of earthworks.
Surveyed area comprises a series of ditched subrectangular enclosures extending eastwards to a sinuous probably former watercourse, with an incomplete banked enclosure and truncated boundary features on the higher ground to the west, indicating a likely series of medieval tofts (houses and garden).
