Full description
25 July 1996. NLA air photography.
Cropmarks indicate two co-joined rectilinear enclosures, surrounding Hall Farm.
The marks are lighter than the rest of the crop, although they are likely to be ditched features, as nearby geological features are also showing this cropmark reversal.
It is possible that the enclosures are related to post medieval activity at the farm, although they may be related to the medieval features of NHER 24980.
S. Massey (NLA), 23 November 2001.
July 2004. Field under grain crop.
Farmer states that these marks are not due to any recent agricultural activity such as drainage.
E. Rose (NLA), 12 July 2004.
