1986 to 1987. Fieldwalking. Field LC30.
Bronze Age, Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and undated pottery.
Roman building material.
Flints.

(S1) describes as part of a linear Roman settlement that extends across parts of four fields. Pot and building material suggests this was a prosperous rural settlement. A well-marked bank and ditch extends from north to south through part of the site.
