Summary

Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval periods have been found by fieldwalking. Roman coins, brooches, and hair pins, an Early Saxon brooch, a Middle Saxon pin and other metalwork has been found by metal detecting.

Site BB 298, field crossing parish boundary. Medium conditions winter cereal.
Worked flints; Hone.
Ipswich ware; Roman sherds; medieval wares; post medieval including Westerwald; Undated sherds.
Copper alloy post medieval spur terminal.
