Summary

Fieldwalking in 1987 recovered a number of ?Mesolithic and Neolithic worked flints. Four Roman coins, a Roman ?furniture fitting and two pieces of Roman pot were found during subsequent metal-detecting in 2004.

Full description

12 April 1987. Fieldwalking.
Found by [1] west of ditch, west of Harford Bridges:
1 ?Mesolithic flint core and 1 blade.
1 Neolithic flint core and 1 scraper.
Identified by J. Wymer (NAU). Compiled by W. Milligan (NCM), 15 May 1987.

February-March 2004. Metal-detecting.
4 Roman coins, 2 pottery sherds (1 pseudo samian, 1 greyware) and 1 ?furniture fitting (stud).
1 modern furniture handle.
