Full description

Manor mentioned by Blomefield.
Present house (mostly covered by creeper) has projecting from its east side a small 3 storey wing in red brick, perhaps 17th century, with roof of stone slabs. Main part of building is 19th century on exterior, yellow brick, slate roof with massive polygonal chimneys.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU) 6 August 1980.

(S1) states both wings are early 18th century, and that the façade is also 18th century, with early 20th century windows and a timber porch.
