Summary

In 1966 a medieval lead seal matrix inscribed SIGIL HENRIC HIC' was found. Metal-detecting in 2012 and 2015 recovered Roman and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and Roman, Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman to medieval or post-medieval lead pot mends and a weight; medieval strap slides, a buckle and a belt mount; a medieval/post-medieval lead weight, curved purse frame fragment and copper alloy vessel fragments including possible handles or feet and a post-medieval mount or unidentified object.
