An area of well-preserved medieval ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks in the grounds of Talbot's Manor House. Late Saxon or medieval pottery has been found on the site.

Full description

In grounds of Talbot Manor House.
Excellent ridge and furrow, preserved in botanical gardens. Trees 30 years old and less planted on ridges.

Visited 6 August 1980.
Confirmed; grid reference made more accurate. The ridges, prominent but spread, run north to south. A footpath still bisects the gardens following the old field boundary.
