A site visit in 1981 noted a small 19th century icehouse on this site. The entrance was closed off by barbed wire and fencing, and it appeared to be in poor condition.

Full description

Ice-house.
Small. 19th century. Half-round tunnel leads to buried domed chamber. Entrance closed off by barbed wire and fencing. Poor condition. Open entrance faces north. Note that there is no lake or pond nearby to produce ice, though there is a stream.
