Summary

Metal-detecting between 2004 and 2010 recovered a limestone architectural fragment; Roman to post-medieval coins, pottery sherds and objects. This includes a large number of Roman coins and a brooch; a Roman to Early Saxon strap-end and buckle and an Early Saxon brooch as well as a medieval papal bulla, buckle fragment and leg from a tripod ewer. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered an Early Saxon brooch; medieval belt mount and strap clasp and post-medieval button as well as Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval coins.

January-June 2004. Metal-detecting. [1].
Medieval dressed shelly limestone architectural fragment. The piece has been cut as a voussoir twice, once in the 12th century, and again in the 14th century.
