The metal finds include a Middle Bronze Age palstave fragment and spearhead or rapier fragment; an Iron Age, Roman or Early Saxon ring; a Roman brooch, toilet article, finger-ring and scabbard chape; Early Saxon brooches; Middle Saxon pins and a brooch; a Middle/Late Saxon strap-end; a Late Saxon hooked tag and bell; medieval brooches, buckles, strap-ends, a scabbard chape, possible book mount, stud, iron belt fitting, disc, furniture or casket key and silver pendant in the shape of a cross; a medieval/post-medieval trade weight and post-medieval harness or furniture bosses and a buckle.
