Summary

An excellent and important example of an 18th and 19th century estate farm. The farmhouse and other original buildings, including the stables and cartlodges with granaries above, were designed by Samuel Wyatt in the 1790s. The rest of the complex was designed by G.A. Dean in the 1850s. The main range includes offices, a carpenters workshop, a blacksmiths, an engine house and a clock tower.

Full description

Very important estate farm complex.
House and original buildings of 1790s by Wyatt, but main complex by G.A. Dean 1850 to 1856.
Clerk of works office with clock tower, engine house with engine of 1914, wheelwrights', blacksmiths', carpenters' shops all with fittings, machinery etc., barns and stables. All in excellent condition.
