Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking between 2003 and 2009 recovered a wide range of objects, including Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval coins. Also found were prehistoric flints, Roman and Saxon brooches, a medieval silver strap fitting, buckle and key, post medieval trade tokens and a seal. Metal-detecting in September 2010 recovered Iron Age, Romano British and post-medieval coins and two medieval/post-medieval lead weights. In 2011 metal-detecting recovered a number of Roman coins, a post-medieval coin and a post-medieval thimble.
