Summary

The earthworks of a possible medieval moated site were visible on this site until the field was ploughed about 30 years ago. Fieldwalking and metal detecting on the site has recovered a Roman coin, Roman pottery and tile, and medieval and post medieval pottery, coins and metal finds.

Before 6 September 2001.
Surface finds of Roman, medieval and post medieval sherds on land which was first ploughed about 30 years ago.
Finder reports what was probably a moated site.
