Metal detecting in 2000 and 2001 recovered a concentration of Roman pottery sherds, and a number of Roman, medieval and post medieval coins and metal objects. This includes a Roman brooch, finger ring, and a fragment of a medieval spur.

December 2000 to January 2001. Metal detecting.
Concentration of Roman pottery sherds on either side of Church Road.
Thirteen Roman coins, Roman metal finds.
Four medieval coins.
Medieval and post medieval metal finds.
