Extensive metal detecting from 1998-2008 in this location has recovered a vast array of metal objects, dating to a variety of archaeological periods. Finds of note include Iron Age toggles, a Roman ring key handle, a medieval seal matrix and an Early Saxon pendant and spearhead.
