Metal detecting here during 1999-2007 recovered a variety of metal objects and coins. Finds of note included a Late Saxon disc brooch and openwork strap end, part of a medieval ampulla, a Middle Saxon backward-turning beast brooch, a Roman hairpin and a post medieval gold finger ring.
