Summer 1999. Metal detecting.
Two Roman coins, see list in file.
Medieval buckle. Oval frame with integral (incomplete, ends missing) forked spacer. Outer sheets missing. 14th century-early 15th century. For reference see Dress Access (S1).

August 1999. Metal detecting rally.
Undatable lead weight, shaped like a large egg with a 'big end' and a 'little end'. The little end has a small circular perforation which runs ar least half of the length of the weight. The big end has the flat circular head of a copper alloy ?nail visible, which may have been driven into the other end of the perforation. Well made but undatable. Now weighs 738g.
