August-September 2003. Metal-detecting. Site extended to whole field including NHER 2012, no obvious concentrations.
42 Roman coins, 2 pottery sherds (central Galuish Samian, inc 1 with image of fallen Gladiator) and 1 brooch (trumpet derivative).
1 ?Middle Saxon pin.
1 ?medieval ?strap end.
2 medieval coins and 1 tinned buckle frame fragment.
1 medieval/post-medieval ?book-clasp/?strap-end fragment, 1 knife end stop, 1 rumber/croatal bell and 1 thimble.
1 undatable lead ?pendant.
