February 1999. Illegal metal detecting said to have been 'close to Mileham Castle'. Suspects detained at Hillington.
Nine Roman coins, one post medieval coin and one Roman brooch, confiscated by court and now in NCM.
Suspects convicted of going equipped and fined, 14 April 1999.
