Metal-detecting in 1998 and 2013 recovered Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and a Roman, Middle Saxon/medieval and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooches and a hair pin; a Middle Saxon to medieval hooked tag; medieval dress accessories, a key and the hinged part from plate-and-loop type book clasp; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy rings, a book clasp and copper alloy cauldron and chafing dish fragments and a post-medieval buckle frame.

February 1998. Metal detecting finds. [1].
Two Iron Age coins of the Iceni. See list in secondary file. To be photographed.
Three Roman brooches, identified by D. Gurney (NLA). First one has reversed fantail. Rear hook. Spring, pin and catch plate missing. Not very common type in Norfolk. 1st century. Second one has enamelled plate, probably zoomorphic, possibly a fish. Fragment with pointed end, projecting `fins'. Two yellow enamel cells, one with two empty dots. Stump of catch plate on reverse. 2nd century. Third one is a dolphin. Rear hook. Spring and pin missing. Grooved bow. Robust and neat example. Nice patina. Middle 1st century.
