Summary

Metal-detecting between 1996 and 2019 recovered Roman and medieval coins, a medieval token and Roman, Early Saxon, medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman brooch; a burnt Early Saxon brooch; a medieval pendant, book fitting, and weight; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment, book fitting, mount, bodkin fragment, and lead balls and post medieval printer's type, a strap fitting, toy gun fragment, powder measure and stud-chape from spur.

1996. Metal detecting. [1].
Medieval token.
Very odd ?late medieval pendant. Circular (diameter 25mm) with broken loop. Very worn central bearded face, probably Christ, in relief. Border of pellets and dots.

Early Saxon possibler cruciform brooch. It has a melted and distorted form suggesting it may have originated from a cremation burial.
3 medieval coins and a book fitting.
Medieval/post-medieval book fitting.
2 post-medieval pieces of printer's type, consisting of two rectangular blocks possibly used for spacing.
