Summary

Mesolithic and Roman finds are said to have been found here sometime before 1997. This observation was confirmed by metal detecting in December 1997 which recovered five Roman coins and a metal skillet handle.

Mesolithic and Roman finds are said to have been found here.

December 1997. Metal detector finds.
Five Roman coins. See list in file.
Handle from a skillet or dipper. Ring terminal with inner border ridged and outer ridged and grooved. Handle tapers from ring to a fresh break and has double border grooves. Roman date. Polaroid (S1) taken by NCM.
