Fieldwalking and metal detecting have led to the discovery of prehistoric, Roman, medieval, post medieval and undated artefacts. They include prehistoric worked flints, Iron Age, Roman and medieval pottery, Roman coins, an Early Saxon or Middle Saxon buckle, a French medieval buckle, a 16th century German jetton and a token of Charles I.
