The metal finds include a Roman stud, brooch and part of a scabbard; an Early Saxon buckle; Middle Saxon and Late Saxon brooches; a Late Saxon/medieval bridle cheek piece; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories, a medieval brooch and a medieval/post-medieval book clasp.

Very long hooked book clasp (length 94mm) decorated with perforations and incised feathers at flared edge concentric
circles at midpoint and longitudinal groove near hook. 2 rivets survive and there is a third hole. Medieval or early post medieval.
