Summary
Metal detecting during the period 1995-2005 recovered a variety of multi-period metal objects and coins. Finds of note included an early post medieval 'baluster' thumb rest for the lid of a vessel, a medieval Venetian soldino coin and a medieval seal matrix of William de Multon - member of the seigniorial family of Surlingham manor.

1995. Metal detector finds.
Early post medieval 'baluster' thumb rest for lid of vessel.
