Full description

July/August 1995. Metal detecting. Context 1 at [1].
Langton Down brooch. Head only, in good condition. Cylindrical housing with spring, pin missing. Wide upper bow, reeded, with a central knurled rib and another on each edge. Mid 1st century AD.
