Summary
A concentration of medieval pottery fragments was noted in 1994 in an area for which there is documentary evidence for a medieval house with outbuildings and land. Metal detecting in 1998 recovered a range of objects, including an Iron Age coin and brooch, Roman coins, brooches, pottery fragments and a key handle, a Late Saxon finger ring, medieval coins, buckles and pottery fragments and a post medieval sword belt mount.
