Metal-detecting in 1993 and 1994 recovered a gilded Roman brooch and a post-medieval button. Further detecting in 2008 and 2010 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins, a post-medieval jetton, Early Saxon and post-medieval metal objects including Early Saxon brooches and a post-medieval book clasp. Metal-detecting in 2011 recovered Romano-British, Middle Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins, a Roman spoon, Roman/Early Saxon strap-end, Early Saxon cruciform brooch fragments, Middle Saxon tweezers, Middle Saxon/Late Saxon strap-end, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects including a medieval dagger quillon, medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel sherd and a post-medieval unidentified lead object.

Roman gilded bronze crossbow brooch (hollow), squashed! Ie. Sheet metal, 350 to 400 AD.
