Summary

Prehistoric flints, fragments of pottery dating from the Middle Saxon to the post-medieval periods and post-medieval roof tile were found during fieldwalking in 1993 and 1994. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered Neolithic worked flints, a medieval coin, medieval and post-medieval pottery and a post-medieval lead weight.

15 and 30 November 1994. 30m transects with some closer searching.
'Crinkly' surface, better weathered on second date, with winter bean crop already well shot and rather loosely sown.
2 Thetford type.
6 medieval unglazed.
