Summary

Fieldwalking in 1993 recovered Neolithic flints, including flakes, scrapers and a borer. Metal-detecting in 2019 recovered Roman, medieval and medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins; aswell as medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval ampulla fragment; and a post-medieval harness mount.

July 1993. Fieldwalking finds. [1].
10 side or end scrapers.
1 borer.
1 axe trimming flake.
2 hollow scrapers.
4 retouched flakes and many flakes.
All probably Neolithic.
Identified by P.A. Robins (NCM) 19 July 1993.

April-June 2019. Metal-detecting. Site extended to the whole field. Previous extent recorded as Context 1. [2].

1 medieval coin, 5 pottery sherds, strap fittings, buckles, and an ampulla.
Medieval/post-medieval pottery sherd.
3 post-medieval coins, buckles and a harness mount.
Finds recovered from within Context 2.
