Summary

Metal-detecting in 1992, 2005 and 2013 recovered medieval pottery sherds as well as Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Early Saxon and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include part of a Bronze Age sword; Iron Age, Roman and Early Saxon brooches and a post medieval strap fitting.

1st half 1992. General scatter in field. Field 48.
Bronze Age sword blade fragment (to be drawn).
Fragment of Roman dolphin type brooch.
1 rim early medievalish jar.
1 medieval unglazed bowl rim.
1 base and 2 body sherds glazed Grimston. 1 body sherd Grimston, probably glazed.
