September-October 1988. Fieldwalking and metal detecting.
Fragmentary illegible Roman coin.
Follis of Maximianus MONETA S AVGG ET CAESS NN. AD 286 to 305.
Coin of Constantine I DN CONSTANTINI MAX AVG VOTXX. Rome mint, AD 307 to 337.
Centenionalis of Magnentius, VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAE VOTVMVLTX. AD 350 to 3. A in left hand side field.
Gilt decorated disc brooch 3rd century AD.
Greyware sherds, including twenty nine rims.
Mayen lava fragment.
Small East Anglian colour coated ware sherd.
Lead steelyard weight.
Bead and flange imitation Samian bowl, East Anglian.
Identified by R. A. Hattatt and D. Gurney (NAU).

Also flint waste flake.
Neolithic/Iron Age flint gritted sherd.
Thetford type ware including at least six rims.
Ringerrike style fragment of bridle cheekpiece? (head and crest of animal).
Late medieval rimsherd.
Late medieval/Transitional sherds.
Medieval? Lead conical weight.
Post medieval bronze decorated buckle.
Early post medieval coarse thimble.
