Summary
Fieldwalking in 1987 recovered various sherds of Roman pottery from this location. Some of these belonged to Spanish amphorae and others formed part of a Nene Valley Colour Coated Ware dish. A single post-medieval pottery sherd was also recovered.

April 1987. Found while fieldwalking.
Roman greyware, 3rd-4th century jar forms; Nene valley colourcoated dish, 4th century AD; Oxidised jug handle, 4th century, local make; two amphora sherds, Spanish?
