Metal-detecting between 1995 and 2012 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; medieval roof tile fragments; Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons and tokens; and Iron Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an Iron Age brooch; Roman brooches, a bead, bracelet fragments, a furniture fitting, hair pin and nail; Early and Middle Saxon brooches; a Middle Saxon pin and hooked tag; Late Saxon bridle bit, finger-ring and stirrup fragment; medieval dress accessories, brooches, book fittings and a barrel padlock and post-medieval dress accessories, cloth seals, a spoon, knife fragment and crotal bell.
