Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting in this area during the period 1986-88 recovered a selection of pottery sherds and metal objects. Pottery types identified included Roman greyware and Saxon Thetford Ware. The metal objects comprised a post medieval lead weight, a Roman coin of Coin of Constantine I and a late medieval bronze rowel spur.

April 1986. Found while fieldwalking. [1].
Roman greyware sherds.
Thetford type ware sherds, one with applied thumbstrip.
Medieval sherd.
Finds held by NCM.
