Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking at this location during 1985-86 and 1995 recovered a variety of objects. Finds of note included a Roman nail cleaner, a medieval cauldron leg, post medieval cloth seals and sherds of Saxon Thetford Ware and Roman greyware pottery. It is also documented that several cottages stood here during the 14th century.
