1984-1989. Intensive fieldwalking and metal-detecting. [1].
Field divided into at least 10 contexts (plan in file).
Palaeolithic handaxe. This object is also noted in (S1) and (S2), although no additional information is given.
Prehistoric flint.
Neolithic axe and sherd.
Roman coins including possible hoard, pottery, metalwork and brooches, quern.
Iron Age terret, other metalwork (S4), pottery.
Early Saxon pottery?
Medieval metalworks and coins, pottery.
Post medieval metalwork, sherds, coins.
