Name:Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval finds

Summary

In 1973 several sherds of Roman Samian ware pottery sherds were recovered at this location. Further Roman pottery sherds and a number of medieval sherds were found in 2007. Metal-detecting between 2011 and 2013 recovered Iron Age, Roman and medieval coins as well as a number of other objects including a Roman brooch, harness mount, hair pin, nail cleaner and spoon; a medieval buckle and strap end and post-medieval harness mounts.

Decorated bowl, form 30, 2nd century.
Stamped dish, form 18, AD 60-80, DRA(VCVS).
