Early Saxon metal objects, suggesting Anglo-Saxon cemetery, but no details known.

Note that the Wilton Pendant (NHER 5303) was found at Wilton while digging gravel and the wood is very irregular, possibly quarried. This is a possible findspot for it. In October 1983 a water main trench passed about 50m southwest of this spot, no sign of anything.
