Full description

1981. Southwest corner of present field. Fieldwalking by Hales Survey, site 19a.
18 medieval unglazed.
2 stoneware including 1 recent.
2 recent sherds.
1 copper alloy sheet fragment.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NAU) December 1981.

1996. Metal detecting finds.
Decorated mount, slightly curved in profile, in the shape of two intertwined snakes forming a figure of eight. Casting is poorly finished so that one half is openwork, the other in relief. One iron rivet survives. 16th/17th century.
