Full description

May 1980. Field Observation.
A hexagonal brick pillbox was observed at this location.
It is in poor condition.
These details were recorded on an HER record card (S1).

May 1992. Field Observation.
This pillbox was examined as part of the Norfolk Defensive Structures Survey.
It is a Type 24 and it was noted that the gate was still in place.
Its condition was deemed to be good, with no apparent threats.
A sketch plan was compiled (S2) and a photograph (slide format) was taken of the exterior. The slide was not retained.

March 2000. Field Observation.
No change was observed in the condition of the pillbox.
