Summary

Fieldwalking in 1977 and metal-detecting in 1997 and 2018 recovered Roman, Late Saxon/medieval, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and token, and Late Iron Age to Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Iron Age/Roman cosmetic mortar and miniature harness fitting; a Roman cosmetic pestle, strap fitting, brooch, nail cleaner, brooch, and possible furniture nail or stud; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval seal matrices, a silver gilt crucifix pendant, key, harness mount, coin weight and foliate boss from an annular brooch; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, a cloth seal, clasp, finger ring, key and a book fitting; and post-medieval mounts, crotal bells, spur fragments, a coin weight, silver finger ring, and furniture escutcheon plate.

7 Roman coins.
5 medieval coins, a buckle, a two-part harness pendant and a foliate boss from an annular brooch. The boss was submitted as possible Treasure (Ref: 2016 T824).
1 post-medieval pottery sherd, mounts and a coin weight.

Late Iron Age/Roman miniature harness fitting terret ring, possibly votive (S1).
10 Roman coins, 4 pottery sherds, and a plate brooch.
Late Saxon/medieval pottery sherd.
30 medieval coins, 2 pottery sherds, buckles, including an example with a scallop shell-shaped terminal (S2, S3), a copper alloy key, and a silver gilt crucifix pendant with a figure of Christ carved in relief on the front. The reverse of the pendant bears the inscription "IhCXHc".
Medieval/post-medieval buckles, copper alloy vessel sherds and a leg, a button, clasp, cloth seal, key, book fitting, and a silver finger ring.
1 post-medieval coin, 1 token, 2 pottery sherds, crotal bells, spur fragments and a button.

The medieval silver gilt crucifix pendant was declared Treasure (Ref: 2017 T734) and acquired by Norwich Castle Museum. The medieval/post-medieval silver finger ring was disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2017 T740) and returned to the finder.
