Full description

Possible ploughed down barrow, showing as gravel mound in ploughed field. 36m diameter, 50cm high.
A. Lawson (NAU), 20 September 1976.

July 1988. Visit.
Under cereal crop near edge of field, swelling visible, less than 0.5m.
J.J. Wymer (NAU), 13 July 1988.

March 2006. Norfolk NMP.
No clear evidence for the earthwork mound of this round barrow was visible on aerial photographs at its recorded location. However, a cropmark of a ring ditch (NHER 43321) was observed 30m to its northeast. Although the cropmark ring ditch had a smaller diameter than the earthwork referred to above, it is possible that these are in fact the same monument.
J. Albone (NMP), 02 March 2006
