In 2004 an undated timber sluice was found on the edge of a saltmarsh channel. It was abutted or cut by a modern metal panelled sluice and was recorded during the Norfolk Rapid Coastal Survey.

May to November 2004. Norfolk Rapid Coastal Survey. Context 991.
A sluice, formed by a row of at least six upright planks and one timber post, was found on the edge of a saltmarsh channel. It was abutted (or cut?) by a modern, metal panelled, sluice.
