Summary
Metal-detecting at this site from 2001-2009 has recovered many finds including an Early Neolithic leaf arrowhead, a Roman furniture fitting in the shape of a bell, a Late Saxon stirrup mount, a lead bird feeder, a medieval horse harness pendant with black enamel and gilding belonging to Robert de Ufford of Suffolk and one post-medieval coin. Metal-detecting in 2011 recovered medieval coins, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects including a medieval buckle plate and lead ampulla, a post-medieval rowel spur, cloth seal and key-hole escutcheon plate from furniture.

November-December 2001. Metal-detecting.
1 Early Neolithic leaf arrowhead.
1 Roman furniture stud.
1 Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount,
1 medieval pottery sherd (Siegburg stoneware).
1 medieval/post-medieval coin weight, 3 cauldron feet and 1 lead bird feeder.
1 post-medieval coin and 1 tinned hooked belt mount.
